Lextract currently uses a manual upload workflow - you download the executed PDF from DocuSign and upload it to Lextract. A direct API integration between Lextract and DocuSign that triggers extraction automatically upon execution is on the product roadmap. The current workflow adds approximately 5 minutes to the post-execution process and can be batch-processed for multiple closings.
DocuSign delivers all signed documents and attachments as a single PDF package or separate files depending on the envelope configuration. Lextract processes the full PDF - if the lease and all riders are combined into one document (as DocuSign typically does), all pages are included in the extraction. For multi-document envelopes, extract the main lease document and any material rider attachments separately.
